Kurt Kolsun
Undergraduate student Kurt is a 4th year student completing his BSc-Major in Microbiology. His summer research has focused on the differences in epigenetic gestational age between cell types from cord blood. He joined the lab thanks to the support from the Faculty of Science Undergrad Research Award. |
Alumni
Brittany Forsberg
Undergraduate student Brittany is a 4th year biology student in the cellular, molecular, developmental stream. She received a 2019 Faculty of Science Undergraduate Student Research Award. Currently she is working on developing a time and cost effective epigenetic clock for mice to help study epigenetic age effects. She hopes to get into the genetics technologist field in the future. |
Mira Villegas
Undergraduate student Mira is a recipient of the University of Manitoba Faculty of Science Undergraduate Research Award. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science - Majoring in Biological Sciences. Mira will be entering medical school this fall.
